For us, safety means that you can sit back and enjoy the trip – knowing that both ship and crew are well prepared!

When you put on sailing trip with Sundfarten, you should be able to sit back and enjoy the experience in complete safety. That is why safety on board always our highest priority – both in relation to the ship's equipment, access conditions and the crew's routines.

The ship is equipped with modern and approved safety equipment, and all passengers have access to life jackets. Our crew is trained in first aid and safety at sea, so we are always ready to act in the event of an emergency.

We have also considered comfort and accessibility in terms of safety:

• High railing of 110 cm all the way around the deck (the requirement is a minimum of 100 cm) – this provides extra safety for both children and adults.

• Wheelchair-accessible gangway, so that everyone has the opportunity to get on board safely and easily.

• P&I Insurance, Mandatory passenger insurance.

For us, safety means that you can enjoy your trip to Møns Klint without worries – whether you are traveling alone, with children or with family and friends who have special accessibility needs.

We only sail when it is safe to do so. Guldborgsund is serviced every year and checked by the authorities – so you can sit back and enjoy the ride.
