The cruise: During the cruise you may be lucky enough to spot the area's wildlife, which includes seals, porpoises and a variety of bird species, including the majestic White-tailed Eagle. It is a good idea to bring binoculars so you can get a closer look at the wildlife and enjoy the stunning surroundings around Møns Klint.
Prices:
- Adults: 250 kr.
- Children under 12 years: 130 kr.
- Children 0-2 years: Free
- Tour duration: Approximately 2 hours
There is a high child-proof railing on board to ensure that the little ones are in safe hands during the cruise. Dogs are also allowed on board, so you can bring your four-legged friend along for the adventure.
Booking and cancellations:
- Minimum of 8 people registered for the sailing trip to take place. If there are fewer people registered, the trip may be canceled due to the ship's costs.
- You can book the boat for 3000 DKK per hour, with a minimum of 2 hours.
Passenger tax and additional fees: There is a passenger tax from Vordingborg municipality of 7 DKK. Therefore, ticket prices have been increased by 5 DKK.
Safety and weather conditions: For your safety, we make reservations for heavy rain and wind. The sailing to Møns Klint may be canceled if there is an easterly or southerly wind direction with a speed of more than 8 m/s. If the trip is canceled, all guests will get their money back.
Food and drink: You are very welcome to bring your own food on board so you can enjoy a picnic along the way while enjoying nature.

Skipper Allan Henning Hansen has an impressive and moving background as a sailor. His long experience at sea – from his childhood in Rødby Harbour to his many years as a skipper on Danish ferries – gives him an invaluable understanding of both the forces of the sea and safety on board. That he bought the Esbjerg cutter Guldborgsund in 2022 as a supplement to his employment, is a testament to his passion for life at sea and his desire to share this experience with others.
The dramatic shipwreck in the Langeland Belt on December 7, 1999, where both he and his father survived the accident with the fishing boat North Beach KR100, has undoubtedly had a great influence on his view of safety. Skipper Allan is a man who not only appreciates the beauty of the ocean, but also the importance of being prepared and responsible at sea.
With such a background, guests aboard can Guldborgsund rest assured that they are in safe hands and that their experience on the water will be both safe and memorable. Maintenance and certificates:
To ensure that Guldborgsund To ensure that the ship is always in top condition and meets the highest safety standards, it undergoes thorough maintenance and inspection every year. In April, the ship is sent to the shipyard at Ring Andersen in Svendborg for annual maintenance. During this stay at the shipyard, the ship is inspected by the Danish Maritime Authority, which ensures that all technical and safety conditions are in order.
The rafts on board – 3 in total – are tested and checked, and the life jackets (47 adults, 10 children's, 2 infant) undergo a thorough inspection to ensure that they are in proper condition. Fire equipment is also up-to-date, including Inergen fire equipment in the engine room and 3 hand extinguishers (2 ABC powder and 1 CO2 extinguisher). There is also a first aid kit C on board, 12 emergency flares, 4 smoke flares and 47 thermal suits, all of which are reviewed and inspected every year.
The ship also has an annual radio inspection, and everything is planned so that it is ready for unforeseen situations. An equipment inspection will be held in June, which is also supervised by the Danish Maritime Authority. This inspection includes, among other things, checking the ship's fire pumps, as well as a thorough review of routines such as ISM (International Safety Management), APV (Workplace Assessment) and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance). This inspection ensures that Guldborgsund not only is ready to sail, but is also among the safest and best equipped ships to take guests out on the water.
This meticulous maintenance and the ongoing inspections show that skipper Allan and his crew have a strong focus on safety and quality - so that everyone can enjoy a safe and unforgettable sailing trip.
